Checking out Breakout Edmonton
I love games. Hide-and-Go-Seek was a staple among the neighbourhood kids, Christmas with my family is traditionally card game central, and Apples to Apples is great to play among friends. When escape rooms started popping up around Edmonton, therefore, I knew I needed to check one out and soon! Luckily we had another young adult night come up for June so I finally got to check off one of my bucket list items by planning a Breakout Night! The six of us got together last Friday

Happy Pentecost!

Because the Moms were writing pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs) that morning, I thought it might be a good idea to have the kids colour some pysanky colouring sheets that we could then cut out and use as an Easter display on the

AGM Breakfast (Many hands make light work!)
Слава Ісусу Христу! Glory be to Jesus Christ! I tell you, this weekend was definitely a busy one for the youth at St. Nicholas! Not only did we decorate all those cookies on Saturday, but this last Sunday was St. Nicholas' Annual General Meeting. Now perhaps it might seem as if this wouldn't have much to do with the youth but au contraire! Guess who was in charge of making breakfast for the meeting attendees? That's right, the youth! When I learned that parish council was exp
